EBD Energy Production and Marketing Co. Inc. is the youngest company of our group, goals for development could only be achieved by means of providing electrical power at satisfactory levels with good quality and in an environmentally friendly manner, Unal Group, besides its activities in the field of construction and infrastructure projects, has decided to contribute to Energy Sector.

NARINKALE and SERAP HEPPs are planned to be constructed on Aras River located in Kağızman/Kars, TURKEY. The Scope of the projects is to use the water potential of Aras River to produce hydro electric. NARINKALE HEPP has annual power production will be 107,797 GWh and SERAP HEPP 84,216 GWh per year. As no reservoir system will be used, according to Turkish Law No:5346, the project is considered as a Renewable Energy Resource. Construction of the projects are going to start in coming days and are scheduled to be completed in two years.

Furthermore, not only in hydro power, EBD has just started his project and feasibility studies for building and operating a new Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant. Hence, new coal reservoirs have been purchased and the required licenses have been taken for establishing a new Thermal Power Plant.
